This Americana Acoustic trio formed in 2012, and consists of long time friends Joshua Johnson (Vocals, guitar, mandolin, percussion, and harmonica), Katie Jo Olsen (vocals, guitar, mandolin and banjo) and Hilary Murray (vocals, violin, mandolin, cello, and guitar). Each musician brings a unique musical perspective, dynamic original songs, and beautiful harmonies. With experience performing individually in various groups such as the Sunhouse Healers, The Mountain Hippie Band, Symmetry, and Tiffany Curtis, interwoven with solo projects, HilKat Johnson have the combined credits including: 9 albums, 2 independent film sound tracks, regional as well as national air play, dozens of regional and national tours, sold out performances from the legendary Whiskey a Go-Go to the snowy peaks of the Sun dance film festival, sharing the stage with the likes of Los Lobos, String cheese incident, Jerry Joseph, Ani Difranco and Rancid. The trio is currently scheduled to start working on their first studio album.
