Details
Registration is Friday, June 7, 5 - 8pm, and Saturday, June 8, 8 – 11am. If you cannot make one of these times, you may stop in at the Summerfest Arts Faire office 69 E. 100 N. Logan, on Monday morning, June 10, 9 – 11am.
Paintings/photographs must be created in Cache County, Utah, and the sections of Cache Valley that are in Franklin and Bannock Counties in Idaho, up to Red Rock Pass. Maps may be obtained from the Summerfest Arts Faire office, 69 E. 100 N. in Logan, at registration, or you can view the map above. Paintings must be created and completed on stamped canvases/paper/board/etc. This guarantees that you created the work on the dates required, i.e., between June 7 and June 11.
Photographers will be given instructions at registration of how time-stamps are to be submitted.
All art must adhere to Summerfest Arts Faire’s family-friendly guidelines. Summerfest Arts Faire is a family-oriented event. Nude, erotic, occult, graphic and/or violent images will not be considered for this event. Images depicting smoking and drinking are also not acceptable. If a piece is deemed by the staff to violate any of these guidelines, it will not be displayed.
Each artist can enter up to two paintings but can get more canvases stamped. Photographers are allowed two entries as well.
Submit framed paintings/photographs, ready for hanging (we require a wire, not alligator hangers), Wednesday, June 12, from 9 – 11:00 am at the Plein Air and Silent Auction rooms in the Cache County Events Center. All paintings are required to be framed. Paintings may be rejected if they are not finished in a professional manner.
All entries will be juried on Wednesday, June 12, and displayed at the Summerfest Arts Faire, June 13-15, 2024. Prizes will be awarded at the opening reception on Wednesday evening.
Artists may choose to sell their work in the silent auction, which runs from 6:00 pm on June 12 to 4pm on June 15.
You must set the minimum bid amount for your pieces. If your work is sold at the Summerfest Arts Faire, it is subject to a 25% gallery fee and Utah sales tax. The tax will be added at the time of sale. A check for 75% of the paid price will be sent to the artist after the buyer has paid. Please take this into consideration when pricing your work for sale.
Unsold artwork must be picked up Saturday, June 15, between 4pm and 7pm (AND NOT BEFORE THEN) or at the Summerfest Arts Faire office throughout June. To pick up at the office, please call for an appointment at 435.213.3858. Artwork not picked up within 30 days of the event becomes the property of Summerfest Arts Faire and may be sold to help fund Summerfest Arts Faire operations.
